The Piccola Orchestra dei Popoli is on stage with a performance at two times. In the first part, accompanied by music, the story of a wooden tree that turns into violin is told, going along the different stages of its life. The text is taken from Memoria del legno by Paolo Rumiz.
The second part consists of the concert of La Piccola Orchestra dei Popoli. The concert is like an imaginary voyage that touches the different shores of musical cultures on stage: from Albanian and Lebanese traditional songs to Indian and Japanese songs, up to poetry set to music.
A voyage in a sea that unites and doesn’t divide, a boat that carries a hope of a we-only humanity.
