Back to the City Concert – Approach path in Milan’s neighbourhoods

Like every year, the big Back to the City Concert is accompanied by an approach path that accompanies us in search of classical music and that in this edition invites the public to experience an “On the march with Mozart” path.

Mozart spent a large part of his life travelling and he saw more than 200 places, insomuch that the inspiration and exchange of views with other scholars and musicians significantly shaped his personality and works.

It is precisely for this reason that the programme represents a journey starting off the week before the concert on Sunday, 15th September, from 10 to 14 September, which crosses through different neighbourhoods in Milan before BAM, to enthral children, teenagers, adults and families. 

Five moments are organised outside the park in the neighbourhoods of Dergano, Bovisa, Certosa, Portanuova and in the Washington area (at the Fondazione AEM auditorium).

It will be a veritable journey through music and the city. It will take us to reinterpreting the figure of the composer, who has always stood as an example for promoting musical education and for developing talent.
